The Board of Education authorizes the use of electronic surveillance monitoring devices in school buildings and on school grounds. Therefore, all school buildings and grounds within this school district may be monitored using such devices in accordance with Board Policy. (MPBOE Policy 7441)

By way of review, NJQSAC stands for New Jersey’s Quality Single Accountability Continuum and is the Department of Education’s monitoring and evaluation system for public school districts. The Midland Park School District is investigating the feasibility of implementing a Full Day Kindergarten Program and your input with regard to this endeavor will be helpful. As per the Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights Act (ABR) (P.L., 2010, c122), the Midland Park Public Schools has posted its Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights Act grades to the school district’s HIB webpage, and to each individual school’s webpage. In order to foster safe and positive learning conditions for students, the school and district grades are part of an integrated process for reinforcing and strengthening a school’s climate and culture through prevention and intervention efforts targeted toward harassment, intimidation and bullying. The Midland Park Board of Education approved the 2014-2015 district calendar (click the link above for a copy), using a new month-by-month format. Please note this calendar includes three emergency closing days and identifies which days will be used as make-up days should they be required.
