The Board of Education authorizes the use of electronic surveillance monitoring devices in school buildings and on school grounds. Therefore, all school buildings and grounds within this school district may be monitored using such devices in accordance with Board Policy. (MPBOE Policy 7441)
At the Board of Education meeting held on March 17, 2015, the 2015-16 Tentative School Budget was approved. Included in the Tentative Budget is funding for a 1:1 Student Technology Resource Initiative for grades 7 through 12 and Full Day Kindergarten to begin in September, 2015. Please keep in mind that this is a TENTATIVE Budget which requires local and state Department of Education approval. The approved final budget will be voted on by the Board of Education on April 28, 2015 at the Public Hearing.
Room 24 at MPHS certainly looks dramatically different this month! As per the Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights Act (ABR) (P.L., 2010, c122), the Midland Park Public Schools has posted its Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights Act grades to the school district’s HIB webpage, and to each individual school’s webpage. In order to foster safe and positive learning conditions for students, the school and district grades are part of an integrated process for reinforcing and strengthening a school’s climate and culture through prevention and intervention efforts targeted toward harassment, intimidation and bullying.
