Summer SALADS -Virtual                                                     

Tuesday, July 14 - 6:00-7:30 p.m.

Instructor:  Kaitlin Higgins

Cost - $30

Celebrate the flavors of the season with fresh summer salads. Light, bright, and delicious we will use the best of summer produce to create flavorful and healthy salads. In our virtual class you can cook along with me at home (Ingredient list to be provided prior to class) or you can watch and take notes.  We will be making shaved asparagus salad with lemon Parmesan vinaigrette, Watermelon salad with crisp cucumber and creamy feta cheese, and peach and fresh mozzarella Caprese salad with cherry and shallot vinaigrette.



Cool Summer Treats – VIRTUAL

Cost - $30

Cool down and turn up the fun with refreshing summer treats. In our virtual class you can cook along with me at home (Ingredient list to be provided prior to class) or you can watch and take notes. We will be making no-churn strawberry ice cream, summer fruit spring rolls with jalapeño lime dipping sauce, and strawberry basil lemonade. Perfect for chilling out when things heat up!

Instructor: DENISE SWAN

The “dancer’s body” workout! Designed to help you develop a longer, leaner body using small, controlled movements, isometric holds and high repetition. Define and lift the hips, thighs and glutes, sculpt the abs, tone and shape the arms! The format includes light weights for upper body, barre work for lower body, mat work for abs. Participants will need a mat and one pair of light weights, (2 - 3 lbs.).  Please note this is not a beginners’ class.  New students should be experienced in this type of exercise.

Pilates is a series of precise movements that work together to develop a strong core.  It is a total body workout that improves flexibility, builds strength and develops control and endurance in the entire body. The format is primarily mat work with some standing exercises.  Participants need to bring a mat & one pair of 2 lb. weights.   Please note this is not a beginners’ class. New students should be experienced in this type of exercise.

Cost - $65


Join us for a Latin dance party! Basic Latin rhythms such as Salsa, Merengue, Samba and Cumbia! We encourage you to have 1.0 lb. weights to strengthen and sculpt your muscles. Not only will you get a cardio workout, you will benefit from the stress relief that comes from dance.  15-20 minutes of Toning moves will be built in!

Cost - $65             


A shorter, simpler dance fitness class that breaks the steps down.  You have the option of increasing your muscle tone by bringing 1.0 lb.  weights. Dance is good for your balance, your brain and your mood. Join us! Please have water and a towel for this class.

This class is a continuation of Italian Intermediate class and for those students who attended classes in the 2020 spring semester. Class is open to new students with equivalent knowledge of intermediate level Italian.

Be your own fortune-teller! Am I going to meet Mr./Ms. Right? Will I get that raise? Is there a move in my future? Answer these questions and more with skill and insight, with a deck of Tarot cards. In this two-night introduction to the Tarot, you’ll learn brief keyword meanings for the cards and two simple spreads. By the end of the second night, you will be able to do uncannily accurate readings for yourself, your family and friends. Please have a Rider-Waite Tarot deck (available on and at many bookstores) at the first class.

Or, do you love trying but have never quite gotten over the hump? Join Steve Manin in an interactive course that will jump start your inner cruciverbalist.  Steve is a writer, entrepreneur and filmmaker who credits the NY Times puzzle with making him smarter, a better writer, and unbeatable at Jeopardy.  Each session will start with a fresh puzzle, and each clue will be worked until Steve has elicited the correct answer from the class.  You’ll find that success is really not about vocabulary.  You know most of the words. What you may not know includes myriad little tricks and, most importantly, the ability to train your brain to think like an expert crossword puzzle solver

Beginners will learn the fundamentals of oil painting while more experienced artists will “brush up” their skills learning more advanced techniques. Beginners and first time painters to our class work on structured projects tailored to students’ experience. Everyone paints at their own level and at their own speed. Materials list and zoom instructions will be emailed to all students prior to class

In addition to online instruction, you will be given the opportunity to book a 1-on-1 script read and voice evaluation via telephone with your instructor for the following day.
