Come and join us as we create works of art that speak from the heart!  We will use acrylic paints to express and connect to the soul.  Go with the flow, let go and see what happens in the process.  Freely work with color, composition line and texture.  This class is based on what you’re feeling and how you relate your intuition to the artistic technique.  Beginners to advanced are all welcome.   All materials included.   Instructor:  BRITT SIKIRIC

Tuesday, 7:00 p.m.-9 p.m. (10 sess. beg.  Sept. 21)   Midland Park H.S.

Have you ever thought about learning to paint in oils? Or did you paint in oils a while ago and you want to get back to it? This is the class for you! This class combines beginners with experienced artists. Beginners will learn the fundamentals of oil painting while more experienced artists “brush up” their skills learning more advanced techniques. Beginners and first time painters in our class work on structured projects tailored to students’ experience. Everyone paints at their own level and at their own speed. The focus is on individual style. On the first night of class we will go over materials. The instructor will email a materials list prior to the first class.  If you have any old oil painting supplies please have them available, regardless of their age. Our ongoing students continue working on their paintings. Many of our regular students have shown their painting in local exhibitions winning top prizes in juried shows.
